Easter 2010

How I love Easter! It's just thé perfect spring feeling day. Both days I went to my family, had a nice brunch and dinner. Of course I ate way too much chocolate. I always feel a bit guilty when I rip of my chocolate chicken's head, but it's definitely worth it.

Finally, testweek is over! It's such a relief to have time for everything again. Yesterday I saw the movie Remember Me with my friends. I was blown away, it was so beautiful. Tonight I'm gonna spend some time with my friends again, but for now I planned nothing. I really needed a lazy day like this one!

Some light in the middle of a dark week

I haven't updated my blog for a way too long time. It's because I'm in the middle of a testweek at school, I'm so busy... I hate those weeks, they are so exhaustive. Even the weather sucked last days. This morning I decided to cheer myself up, and what's a better way to do that than shopping? :) Unfortunately I have zero time for that, but online shops are THE solution. I orderd this floral skirt on H&M online:

My last two purchases are from H&M too, haven't showed you them yet.
I bought this Garden Collection top (yes, I love floral design haha) and the sandals are on their way to me.

Flower Power

Rise and shine, it's time for a whole new week! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I went to Utrecht University, watched Dear John, and had a long walk with lots of cute dogs. So I enjoyed my weekend a lot! Now it's Monday again, my least favorite day of the week. But it's gonna be 20(!) degrees celcius at the end of this week, so I certainly have something to look forward to...

Victoria Secret

I absolutely loved the last few days: It finally felt like spring! It was around 17 degrees celcius here, which sounds tropical for me at this time of the year, after such a long winter. My summerfeelings are getting stronger and stronger, so I couldn't stop myself to look for nice bikini's. The ultimate summer musthave, of course. I ended up almost immediately with the Victoria Secret online shop. Almost everybody loves Victoria Secret bikini's and so do I. Take a look at those and feel the ultimate summer feeling!


I love the back of the first bikini! The front of it is just plain black, but the back detail makes it much more special. What I like about the second one, is the U-ring of it. It's something different than the O-ring a bikini normally has. And I'm a fan of the colour!


Who says a good old bathing-suit is only good for your grandma? This red one is both sexy and chique. But a bathing-suit has a big disadvantage for me: You have to deal with a not sun-tanned belly... If you want a mix between a bikini and a bathing-suit, the one piece bikini is your solution. The safe colour and the bold design is a perfect combination.


Two kind of simple, but cute bikini's. I really like the one strap of the first and the crossed back of the second.

And now it's time to dream on and wait for real bikini temperatures...

My new purchases

Today was a good, lazy day. It was my first relaxing weekend in ages, I totally forgot how a normal weekend has to feel like. I went to the hairdresser, but did nothing else than cut my hairtops, I wanna keep my long hair. Yesterday I promissed to show you my new purchases, which I bought two days ago, so here they are!

How I love inspiration

Finally, it's weekend again! This was quite a heavy week for me, so I'm really happy I have two days to relax now. I went shopping yesterday evening, so I will show you my purchases tomorrow. Today I just mixed some pics, which I have saved in my images for ages, into a inspiration post. It's all very summerish, romantic and girly. It's really time for spring right now, this lovely pictures make me crave for it even more.

The weater looks so beautiful today! The sky is blue, the sun is bright, all in all it looks like a hot summerday. But appearances are deceptive... It is FREEZING. I went outside this afternoon, to the park in Maastricht, the city where I live nearby, with my parents and my dog. (I really, really felt like shopping, but my parents forbade me. I just have zero money...) A lot less fun than shopping, of course, but it wasn't that bad. I almost never come there and I have to admit it's beautiful. But I was dressed way too cold. My foot was frozen, literally. It had no colour anymore for over an hour. I should have worn boots... And a hat. And gloves.

Hello prom dress!

I finally have my prom dress! I ordered it last week on Asos.com and today it arrived. It's not my graduation year, so I was not looking for a very exclusive one. I just wanted a short, cute dress. So this is the one I chose:

And now I have to look for a pair of heels to wear it with. Mission two has started!

Zara spring collection 2010

Zara is one of my favorite shops and I'm in love with their spring collection.


Shorts are perfect to wear all summer long. They are just always good! A simple one, like the first and third, is a must have. But if you wanna go for something more special, the one in the middle is a great choice. I love the beautiful nude colour of it. My favorite item of those three outfits is the little vest on the third picture, with the feathers. It looks really cute, especially combinated with those shorts.


That one shoulder dress is simply gorgeous. Colour, one shoulder, wrap effect, I love everything about it. And on the first picture, I see another high waisted shorts. It's definitely a Zara thing this spring! And Zara isn't getting behind on the denim blouse trend either, according to the last outfit.


It's all about prints! Stripes, plaids and flowers, I love them all.


A blazer is one of my favorite clothing pieces. You can combinate it in so many different ways and it never gets boring. I'm desperately looking for the perfect beige one. I'm in love with the one on the third picture, so I hope that's gonna be mine soon. But I wouldn't say no to the striped one either... I've written about the beige trenchcoat earlier, so I think you get I love it now :) The shoulder effects are so cute, they make a standard trenchcoat really edgy.

My wishlist

Altough my bank account can't even miss one penny, I desperately wanna have those items.



1. Floral legging - Topshop. I love love love floral design! It's a bit more 'bold' in a legging or pants, but this Topshop legging is very subtile and still cute.
2. Black blazer - H&M. The well known black boyfriend blazer by H&M, so many people are looking for it. And it's out of stock every single morning. Of course it's the price, only 19,95 euros. I keep looking every morning!
3. High heels - Zara. I'm looking for those golden oldies for ages, I'm in love with cute cut-out details. They are from an older collection, two years ago I guess. But they are simply impossible to find.
4. Grey suede bag - Mulberry. Look at this gorgeous bag, do I need to say more? Unfortunately it's a little bit over my budget at the moment...
5. Black wedges with zipper - H&M. Those shoes are on their way to me, I orderd them a while ago. Love them on the pic, curious how they look in real life!
6. Beige Trenchcoat - Zara. I really wanna have a beige trenchcoat this spring. It doesn't have to be this one, I've seen another one, but I don't have a pic of it. Of course this one is also a beauty.

Kristen Stewart

I've already told you I love Kristen Stewart. I think she's one of a kind, always herself and of course she's a great actress. Many people have a sharp opinion about her looks. I can imagine that, she isn't just a standard celebrity. Kristen has her own style and only wears something if it makes her feel comfortable. But that's just what I love about her!


Go Kristen! Yesterday night she won the Elle UK’s Woman of the Year Style Award. She looked amazing in this Emilio Pucci dress, I love the edgy top part of it. Her bally shoes with straps, are gorgeous as well. The leather jacket makes it so 'Kristenish', it really completes her own personal look.


She did it again! Kristen rocks this outfit she was wearing to the London Fashion Week, during the Burberry Prorsum show. And how surprising, her outfit is by Burberry. The kind of zebra printed part of it looks so good on her. And again she did something unexpected: She combinated it with a long black coat. Yes, that's a risk, but the result is great.



This picture is much older than the other two, but it's an amazing look as well. Kristen wore this dress by J. Mendel with the promotion of New Moon in Paris, in November last year. This outfit doesn't look like what she normally wears, it's a bit more girly. But this picture proves that it looks great on her as well.

As good as Kristen looks in all of those outfits, she still feels the most comfortable when she's wearing a good old jeans, a shirt and all stars. But the shirt isn't a Kristen Stewart shirt when it hasn't her well known "shirt knot" of course!
